Sigma Kappa Convention

PICTURES AND HIGHLIGHTS OF CONVENTION 2004

The 2004 Sigma Kappa Convention was held in Cincinnati, OH at the Hilton Netherland Plaza Hotel from June 23-27. Since we were close to the Convention site many of the Dayton Alumnae were able to attend all or part of the Convention.

The Dayton Alumnae Chapter received 3 Honorable Mention Awards during the Convention.

At the Confirmed Conventionite banquet, three of the Dayton Alumnae became Confirmed Conventionites (having attended three Conventions.)
They are Andrea Ewart, Gina Keucher and Trisha Studebaker.

PICTURES AND HIGHLIGHTS OF CONVENTION 2002

The 2002 Sigma Kappa Convention was held in Scottsdale, AZ at the Camelback Inn & Resort. The scenery was beautiful and weather in July was hot! The Dayton Alumnae Chapter won the Triangle Award and Honorable Mentions for the Smith Award which is for "Working with Collegians above and beyond the call of duty."

PICTURES AND HIGHLIGHTS OF CONVENTION 2000

The 2000 Sigma Kappa Convention was at the Marriott Marco Island Resort, Marco Island, FL. Six of the Dayton Alumnae attended the gala event commemorating the Sorority's 125th Anniversary. The Dayton Alumane Chapter won Honorable Mentions for "Outstanding Alumnae Chapter" and "Working with Collegians Above and Beyond the Call of Duty".

Joyce Conner, Beta Upsilon, was honored by receiving the "Colby Award" for outstanding achievement in her career field (Volunteer Administration) which has been substantiated by local, regional and national recogniiion.
