Symbols of Sigma Kappa

This is a brief overview
of Sigma Kappa Sorority.
One of our symbols is the Heart.

Our open motto
is ONE HEART, ONE WAY

Our colors
are Maroon and Lavendar.

Our flower is the Wild Purple Violet
and the Pearl is our jewel.
The Greek Letters stand
for Sigma Kappa.

Two other symbols
are the Dove
and the triangle .
Our logo is
"Bringing Sisterhood to Life."

We are the only
National Panhellenic Sorority
founded in the New England States.
We were founded by the
first five female students
at Colby College in Waterville, MA.
Our Founders' Day
is Nov 9, 1874.
