There is a spiritual battle waging over your eternal destiny, and the Good News is that you get the choice over who gets your soul - Jesus or Satan.

You can be saved this very minute.

Pray this prayer:

Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and that without you I am lost forever. I believe that you died on the cross me for, and as best as I know how, I now ask you into my life, and into my heart. I receive you as my savior. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

The next step:

Get a Bible and start to read it. You may not understand everything at first, but when you received Jesus, he gave you the Holy Spirit to guide you and give you understanding. He is your teacher, and the more you read and study the Bible, the more you will increase in spiritual knowledge. (Start in the New Testament - A good place would be the book of John)

Find a good local church. Fellowship with other believers is important. Find a church where the Bible is the central focus of the teaching. Let them know you are a new Christian believer.

Pray. Just as fellowship with other believers is important, even more so is fellowship with God. Prayer is the way to communicate with God. If Jesus needed to pray to talk to the Father, how much more so is our need to pray!

Stay strong. Now that Satan has lost you, he will be working overtime to try and get you back . But don't worry, "Greater is he who is in you (Jesus), than he who is in the world (Satan)." (1 John 4.4) Read your Bible daily, pray, and fellowship with other believers and you will be fine. Through your strength in Jesus you can defeat Satan - "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." (James 4.7) What a glorious picture - The devil, with his pointy tail between his legs running away from us!

If you did not receive Jesus into your life, please read the following:

 Satan does not want you to know the truth. He is the great deceiver and wants as many people as possible to spend eternity in hell with him.

THINK ABOUT THIS - You could be in hell for a million billion years and eternity isn't even one-second older! If you are a Christian, this is the closest you will ever be to hell. If you are not a Christian, this is the closest you will ever be to heaven.

Jesus came to save - but the consequence of his coming, for those who refuse him, is judgement. No further verdict is needed, your own conduct finds you guilty. Once you meet Jesus you can never again be what you were before. You can't pretend not to see him, or that he's not there. Consciously or unconsciously each person must make up their own mind and give some answer - either accept his promises, or reject them.

Man is free to choose - he can choose eternal happiness with God, or everlasting torment without God (he has a right to hell).

But you must make a decision. Jesus said, "He who is not for me is against me." (Matt 12.30)

Remember this - No decision is a NO decision. Don't say no to Jesus.
