Policies Regarding the Tournaments

Due to the volume of fencers present at the last tournament it was necessary to determine how best to increase efficiency during the events. We found the biggest problem to be delays caused by fencers participating in more than one event. We do not wish to restrict the number of events that fencers may participate in, this was another sticking point. We have decided that in all future tournaments, a 2 minute to strip rule will now be enforced. Fencers wil have 2 minutes to present themselves at the appropriate strip, or else they will forfeit the bout. Rescheduling of bouts, can be done, but this must take place before the fencers are called to the strip for that bout.
Note: This policy may not be enforced if it is deemed unnecessary when considering the numbers.
