The game started predictably enough.....ball in the air and major panic every time Henry ran at us.... the only highlight was a bit of handbags started by Baba.. when he livened things up..... his trip over Ljungberg was was totally without malice... in any case the turnip reacted as if he just been shot at the western front... should have been booked for faking and driving a Volvo ( grey or beige like the rest of sweden)....

So Celestine did explain to Bergkamp how one checks the tyre pressure on a jumbo, what's wrong with that ? He wouldnt know would he ? To see that the new left fullback hope Cole has already learned how to cheat the Arsenal way and grab little Dennis by the throat was nothing but outrageous, to see Pires actually slapping Dennis should have resulted in a red card.... all our captain did was trying not to get flattened by the bigger boys... a clear cut case of bullying...the local left wing council should do something about it....the stuff with which Vieira got away with reminded me of the untouchables....

Second half was all change as per usual... but the c..t Jokanotdoalot was still on the pitch.. Dalla Bona was off... Jesper was on but they all lost the plot.... terrible penalty.... if those are the new rules then we will have a dozen a game... glorious goal by Jimmy.... Eidur hitting the post... the rest I dont want to dwell on..... my little fellow decided he wanted to walk back home to Winchester.. followed by advice to Dennis at the last corner.. "If you can't win at least break their bloody legs"... at least he is growing up in the right spirit!!!!

One final word: it really was like a fucking library.... not even "can we sing a song for you" woke the gooners up

The rest of the season.... a lot of teams to beat.... the pressure is off .... Coventry away I dont think so.... too many of my forebears saw that place from 10000 feet.... but West Ham away should be fun... no kids around.... I am booking a table in the Boleyn for cocktails now....
