2009: Assigned to Washington's Class AAA Syracuse affiliate. 2008: Once again assigned to Class AA Erie....placed on disabled list 7/8....released by Detroit 7/22....signed by Washington and joined Class AA Harrisburg (Eastern League) 8/1....transferred to Class A Potomac 8/7....promoted to Class AAA Columbus 8/23 and went 3-0 to finish up campaign. 2007: Pitched a scoreless inning in relief for Detroit in Spring Training exhibition game outing vs. Atlanta Braves 3/27....Assigned to Class AA Erie (Eastern League) to begin season....made seven appearances for Erie (six in relief) before being re-assigned to Class A Lakeland 5/9 to work as a starter....made one start for Lakeland, then returned to Erie 5/17....picked up first Class AA win in relief 5/30 vs. Harrisburg....gave up just run on six hits while striking out five in complete victory 7/12 vs. Bowie....worked eight shutout innings to beat Altoona 9/2. 2006: Once again assigned to Class A West Michigan....did not allow a run or a walk in six relief appearances for Whitecaps....promoted to Class A Lakeland (Florida State League) 4/28....tied for second in the FSL with two complete games. 2005: Assigned to Class A West Michigan Whitecaps (Midwest League)....struck in the mouth by hard-hit ground ball during first start of season 4/9 vs. Southwest Michigan and placed on the seven-day disabled list 4/12....posted first professional complete game with six-hit victory at South Bend 7/18. 2004: Second-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference after seizing spot in weekend rotation for junior campaign....turned in Tech pitching staff's only complete game of the season by going the distance on a four-hitter to beat Wake Forest 3/21....led staff with 10 wins while ranking second in strikeouts....Honorable Mention All-America by CollegeBaseballInsider.com....drafted in fifth round by Detroit Tigers and signed professional contract 6/22....assigned to Class A Oneonta (New York-Penn League)....earned first professional win 8/23 vs. Vermont.... recipient of the Braves 400 Club's Jason Varitek Award as Georgia College Player Of the Year. 2003: Emerged as perhaps the most improved pitcher on the Tech staff getting the ball for five starts and posting one save from bullpen....worked six shutout innings to gain win in first collegiate start 3/5 vs. Campbell....grabbed save with 3.2 innings of scoreless relief vs. Kent State 3/15....pitched for Anchorage Bucs of Alaska Baseball League during summer....named to 16-man Alaska Baseball League All-Star team for the 2003 season and tabbed as the No. 6 prospect in the ABL by Baseball America....also started one game for Las Vegas Desert Devils in National Baseball Congress World Series at Wichita, Kansas 8/7. 2002: Made four appearances, all in relief (one in February, three in March)....notched first two collegiate strikeouts in inning of 1-2-3 relief 3/10 vs. Winthrop....pitched for the Delaware Cows of the Great Lakes League during summer.
