2007: Assigned to Class A Clearwater Threshers and helped team to Florida State League championship....went 3-for-4 with a double, a three-run homer, and five RBI 5/5 vs. Brevard County....overall, hit safely in 12 straight games 4/23 to 5/9 going 20-for-42 (.476) with three home runs....won the Florida State League All-Star Home Run Derby 6/15 at Daytona (story)....placed on disabled list in late June....returned to Clearwater lineup 7/13....shook a three-game 0-for-11 slump to post a 10-game hitting streak (16-for-38) climaxed by game-tying ninth-inning grand slam 8/6 at Vero Beach....went 4-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in game one of twinbill 9/1 vs. Lakeland.

2006: Joined Class A Lakewood BlueClaws 4/26....went 3-for-8 with an RBI double during 17-inning suspended game vs. Hagerstown in South Atlantic League debut....when game resumed 5/7, walked to lead off 22nd inning and later scored to conclude the longest game in SAL history....named Phillies' Minor League Player of the Month for July after batting .302 with four homers and 28 RBI in 27 games....tied Lakewood single-game record with four doubles vs. Delmarva 8/21....also established franchise record with league-leading 44 doubles for the season....finished second in SAL batting race with .310 average while tying for 10th in circuit with 81 RBI.
