	The grandfather clock seems to say
	As it's pendulum swings.

	The hands of fate near the hour of midnight
	While the monotonous ticking of the clock becomes 	
        Persistent.

	Tick-Tock
	It seems to warn as the hands draw closer
	While the reflection of light off the pendulum
	Moves back and forth with the . . .

	Tick-Tock 
	Of the grandfather clock.
	The hands strike,
	The sounds of the

	Tick-Tock
	Is blocked out by the awakening bongs
	Causing shivers in the sleeping people.
  	The bongs decease and the . . .

	Tick-Tock
	Sound of the clock can be heard again
	With it's hypnotic . . .

	Tick-Tock
 	It lulls the people back off to sleep.
