Unsung hero Mika Kortelainen continues to make waves in the stands. Kortelainen
with Laukkanen 2+1 and Jokinen 1+1 were again the dominant line.
According to statistics the line currently creates on average 10
scoring chances and only has two against them per game.
The highlight of the game was however Kimmo Timonen going coast-to-coast with only 18 seconds played. He also played a very decisive role in the 2-0 ppg as his shot from the blue was tipped in by Laukkanen. Defensively Timonen wasn´t 100%, but still worth
his two stars.
Time to time it looked like Bob Halkidis was playing all the time with the other defenders switching on the other d. He played well
and it looked almost as an penalty free evening, but as some five minutes left he was called an pretty easy minor anyway.
