The "Red" machine ignited well and even though the 1st goal was scored, not earlier than, at 9.37 there wasn´t a shadow of a doubt over the outcome.

Flawless defensive play combined with sheer brilliance in the offensive zone thrilled the near capacity crowd throughout the game. The Davidsson (1+2), Caloun (2+1) and Ruutu (1+1) line must be the best in the league at the moment.

All players played very well but, Ruuttu-Sihvonen and Elomo-Tuomainen formed effective pairings. The defenders and goalie had a night off as they hardly got tested at all.
