A hockey game is rarely won if you let the other team up by three goals.
They continued at the same uninspired level as on Thursday. Lindfors was in goal and it seems like we would have a problem in that department. Neither Lindfors nor Lundell are hot at the moment.Letīs hope the 12 day break, ahead, improves the situation
The frustration level again was very high. This time Laaksonen, Halkidis and Linna fought their way to one game suspensions. I for one think this is silly and does not help HIFK in any way. A certain level of aggression is good for a hockey game, but as the league punishes fighting with an automatic game misconduct itīs not worth it.
The game itself saw HIFK, as said before, start the game almost like a "sleepwalker" after which it was very hard to get going. Despite unlucky bounces like four shots in the posts we really played badly. Unforced errors and sloppy puckhandling was the name of the game.
The comeback in the third was awesome and left a feeling in the spectators: "maybe the good stint isnīt over after all".The role players again held the decisive role in the late recovery. Thatīs why the stars look as they do.
