Not one of the all time great games, but a solid performance for the first 50 minutes.

The return of Caloun (been out with a stomach virus) was glorious and lifted the team especially on powerplay. His 2+1 is well worth the 1st star nomination. Ruuttu and Sihvonen excelled with Caloun and Rafalski was only just short of Caloun. The Kalpa goalie (K.Kapanen former HIFK) had 23 saves in the 2nd and faced numerous shots throughout the match, totalling 42 saves.
