The JYP jinx is but a memory.
Total domination resulted in several power-play opportunities early, but no goals. When the first lucky bounce by Jokinen found its way into the net the game was over. Three easy goals in the 1st period were followed by antoher five in the 2nd. Understandably the third was difficult.
Karalahti scored again and other players worth mentioning were Laukkanen, the fourth line Kalto-Ahonen-Heiskanen and generally you can say that JYP´s best player was as good as any player in HIFK
Notable is that despite 9 goals scored, Jan Caloun did not record a point.
