HIFK 3 TPS 5 1998-11-22

TPS took advantage of the disorganization hampering HIFK performances currently. Coaches still blame the brake and massive number of games, not leaving enough room for training. In my wiev the main problems are visible in the lack of playmaking defenders .Behind Rafalski there´s nothing and then nothing. The second problem area is the centers were the absence of Borsato is felt in an inability to create scoring chances by everybody else than Caloun and who gets to play with him. Yesterday even Lundell let down the team by conceding a couple of easy goals. Scott Malone (in on a try-out deal)positively surprised me, but is he going to get a contract, as his reputation of being a solid stay home defender rather should read : pretty good skater and more an allround player than anything close to "staying home".
