Well I was in a total void ! This is going to be all out of order for sure with big chunks missing (Forgot to jot notes in my 'Pukka Pad' all week !).
The day just went by, neither of us could move ! I always get travel sickness too, but voidy travel sickness....i feel fine until the next day ! Rather like drinking Sharon, of course, had just come out of hospital and been in a car crash ! I just had to lie still in a void, we hung around in the hotel room until Ulrike got back.
Ulrike left and we waited in the bar for our second room mate Mandie. She was coming from Heathrow too and we really didn't envy what she was going through ! We greeted her in the bar and she stayed for a while before leaving to go to bed, wise girl !
I'm pretty sure that this is the evening that we first went looking for Meghan and Dave at the Holiday Inn. They weren't there yet; unbeknown to us, they were in a hateful lost luggage void We hung out in the bar there drinking more red wine, had some food and left Meghan and Dave a message.
When we got back to our hotel, I suddenly remembered that it was St Patricks day, eeeeeek ! That was voidy, I thought of home and drinking myself into a void and smoking in an Irish pub, as I would normally be doing. I ordered a Guinness and sat there sipping it, this excused me from another round of iced teas LOL !! The bartender, Gerald, asked us how we were feeling PML !!! We went to our room when the bar closed, hoping we'd feel better the next day, see some skating and meet the arriving net ppl, yay !!
