Highlights: An absolutely gorgeous day greeted competitors and spectators alike to this year's event. The debut of a Women's Novice Right Division was a huge success, with the winner being Lori Beckmann. David Becker battled his way back through the loser's side of the bracket to win the Men's Novice Right 80 kg Division. The biggest match of the day was the final between Sonny Larson and Jason Remer. Each coming in with one loss, Sonny was able to win the match and the South Dakota State Title in the Men's Left 90+ kg Division.
