![]() Camby injured 04/18/00 NEW YORK-The New York Knicks have activated center Chris Dudley and placed forward/center Marcus Camby on the injured list with a sprained capsule of his right knee, club executive vice president and general manager Scott Layden announced Tuesday. This transaction does not affect Camby's availability for the playoffs. In 59 games this season, including 11 starts, Camby averaged 10.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.97 blocks and 26.2 minutes. He has notched 14 double-doubles, 17 double-figure rebounding games and led the club in rebounding 19 times this season. This is the second time Camby has been placed on the injured list this season. He had a 16-game stint on the injured list in February and March after suffering a mild strain of the ACL. Dudley, who will be eligible to play in New York's April 18 game vs. Detroit, has been on the injured list since April 6 with a sore lower back. Prior to being on the injured list, the 6-11 center averaged 1.1 points and 2.9 rebounds over 9.6 minutes in 45 games played, including three starts.
