PROBLEM:
The Home game freezes during play.
SOLUTION:
Hit 'Ctrl' + 'Alt' + 'Delete' to bring up the "Close Program" dialog box. Highlight "Strat-O-Matic - Home" from the list and click 'End Task'.
PROBLEM:
After crashing due to an "Illegal Operation, or having been shut down via the "Close Program" dialog box, the Home game won't start up. Usually characterized by the game opening for a split second and then immediately closing again.
SOLUTION:
Restart your computer to clear remnants of the program out of memory.
PROBLEM:
The Home team game crashes or freezes up after the last out of a game is recorded but PRIOR to clicking 'End Game' at the "End of Game" dialog box, or 'OK' at the "Subsets" dialog box. If this occurs, Game Result Files, or Subsets will NOT have been saved for the game in question. Basically the last out of the game has not been recorded by the game.
SOLUTION:
This can be done either via the Net Play game or the CDROM game, and must be done PRIOR to playing another Home game via Net Play:
Load the Pickup.sav file, switch to Manual Entry mode, and record the last out of the game manually.
PROBLEM:
After loading a Pickup.sav file, to continue a game that crashed or froze during play, the last completed play prior to the crash was not recorded.
SOLUTION:
Switch to Manual Entry mode, manually enter the result of the last completed play prior to the crash, switch back to the Entry mode you were previously using and continue the game.
