RESPONSIBILITIES IN PRESENT AND OR PREVIOUS POSITIONS.

Prepare financial and human resources budgets regarding labour utilization, spare consumption, capital investment, quality assurance, production output and raw materials.

Maintain a positive trend against budgets and comply with " Management by objective " and customer requirements.

Ensure a harmonized environment between interrelated departments, supporting departmental and customer requirements.

Maintain SABS ISO 9002 status, follow and maintain the management system set out by the quality manual.

Keep overtime in check with the budget by ensuring follow-up on absenteeism and other disruptions; maintain positive human and industrial relations. Participate in yearly wage negotiations.

Assist maintenance staff in maintaining and or improving operating costs per hundred thousand picks or operating hours, use NPI " Hok and Hop " standards in comparing oneself to the industry.

Follow-up on product development, non-conforming material and customer complaints.

Maintain a 5 star NOSA rating and prepare for ISO 11000, ensure a safe and productive environment.

Responsible for the production planning of three textile mills.

Assist during the implementation of a computerized MRP II system and subsequent training of the operators and users.
