The Coaches, l to r: Todd Miller, Stephen Biedrycki, Ryan Berger, Rodger Seemiller, and Terry Fike

Rodger Seemiller - Varsity Headcoach

Coach Seemiller hails from Altoona Pennsylvania where he wrestled for coach Marty Rusnak and the Altoona Mountain Lions from 1972 to 1975. Although plagued by injuries most of his junior and senior year, Coach Seemiller achieved All - American status with a 5th place finish at the National Junior Championships in Iowa City and a berth on the prestigious Pennsylvania Top 100. A scholarship landed Coach Seemiller at the University of Maryland where he continued his career under Coach John Mchugh. Once again, a knee injury brought an early end to Seemillers career. However, his competitive juices got him a 2nd place at the National AAU Collegiate Weightlifting Championships in 1978.

Upon graduation Coach Seemiller went right to coaching including such places as Georgetown Prep, and Penn state (Altoona). Seemiller hooked up with coach Dodge and the Wildcats in 1988 where he has assisted and helped Warren County to numerous winning seasons. As coaching irony would have it, while at Georgetown Prep, Coach Seemiller was assisted by Kevin Colabucci (see Dodge bio) who was later to become head coach at Bishop Ireton HS where Coach Dodge began his coaching career.

Stephen Biedrycki - Assistant Varsity Coach

Coach Biedrycki comes to us with a list of credits that reads like a "Who's Who of American Wrestlers." Probably his most famous accolade came in 1988 when he was chosen as the 1st Alternate to the Olympic Games for the Greco Roman Wrestling Team. Other credits include; Sombo National and World Cup Champion, Silver Medalist Pan American Games, Greco Roman, and 6 time All-Marine Champion ('84-'89). He was ranked as high as 2nd in the Nation in Freestyle and was on the Soviet Union Tour for Freestyle in 1986.

Terry Fike - Head Junior Varsity Coach

Terry Fike is a native of Altoona. PA and a graduate of Lock Haven University. As a high school athlete, Coach Fike was a three year starter for the Mt. Lion wrestling team, earning two district titles, a regional championship, and Honorable Mention honors for scholastic wrestling among Young Wrestler Magazine's high school All-Americans. In Greco-Roman, he was a state champion, and placed 4th as a sophomore and second as a junior in USWF Junior National Championships in Iowa City (now the USAWrestling Championships in Fargo, ND). As a senior he went on to win the AAU Junior National Greco-Roman Chanpionships in 1976. At that time, he also earned a spot on the AAU Junior National Freestyle team, and toured Turkey wrestling against their top juniors. Upon graduation he attended the University of Maryland for one year before joining the military. In the Army, he was a two time member of the All- Army wrestling team. He later served for two years as a student assistant wrestling coach at Lock Haven University under PA Hall of Fame Coach Neil Turner. He served as a student assistant for the Bald Eagles while earning a BS in General Studies with a Physical Education/Coaching Emphasis.Coach Fike continued to gain valuable coaching experience serving as assistant wrestling coach at Bucknell University, working for head coach Bob Ferraro. While at Bucknell, Fike earned his certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the certification required by virtually all major college and professional sports teams. He worked in this capcity for six years, serving all the athltetic teams at Bucknell, but specifically working with football and wrestling. Coach Fike moved to Warren County to teach and coach in 2002, uniting him with former junior high, high school, college team mate, and long time friend, Head Wrestling Coach Rodger Seemiller.

Todd Miller - Assistant Junior Varsity Coach

Steve Burton - Head Coach for Warren County Middle School

Steve Burton is in his fourth year here at Warren County. Previously, he coached for 3 years at Pine Forrest Middle School in Fatetteville, NC where his team was the District Champs for 2 years. This year he is the head coach for our middle school team.

Charlie Dodge - Assistant Athletic Director

While wrestling at W&L, Coach Dodge was under the watchful eye of Guy Cavallo. Coach Cavallo helped lead W&L to the AAA State championship in 1959 interrupting Granby H.S. streak of 21 titles. At W&L Coach Dodge wrestled with other soon to be head coaches in Virginia, Jim Raines; Liberty H.S.AA and Jud Stokes; Hickory H.S.AAA. After finishing Radford University in 1984 Coach Dodge returned to wrestling as an assistant coach at Bishop Ireton.

At Ireton he was under the tutelage of 2 time ACC champ Kevin Colabucci from the University of Maryland. Here they won the 1985 Virginia Independent State Wrestling Championships. In 1986 Coach Dodge worked with another Maryland wrestling graduate Paul Triplitt. Coach Dodge left Ireton to resurrect the program at Warren County from a one year lay off. Coach Triplitt went on to coach powerful Mt.St.Joes in Maryland.

Coach Dodge proceeded to rebuild the program from the ground up. After going 0-15 and 3-9-1 with few wrestlers, the program began to turn around with the addition of yet another University of Maryland Wrestler, Coach Rodger Seemiller. While it took another 3 years to post its first winning season, the team has since gone 87-39.

At the end of the 1998-1999 wrestling season Coach Dodge decided to step down as head coach for the Warren County Varsity Team and take on the position of head coach for the Warren County Middle School Team. Now for the 2001-2002 season Charlie is our new Assistant Athletic Director. Although he is no longer be coaching a team he is always there helping out.
