TK stepped down as Skipper for the Twins.  He was the longest tenured coach in all of professional sports at that time.  He is replaced by Ron Gardenhire.

Al Newman promoted from AA to 3rd Base Coach for the Twins.

Stadium proposals should be heard by the legislature this coming season.

Bud Selig's plan for Contraction looks to be dead at least for this season.  I don't think it will fly anyways.
