FC. Barcelona has in its Museum an Art Gallery where there are exposed pictures and sculptures, all of them proceeding from donations. The aim of the Club, when they established this curious pinacotheque, was to shelter artistic creations inspired by Barça.
Most of the artists who give they work are Catalan but painters or sculptors around the world can do it. There, are accepted all styles and frends because the only but is that the work has to be related to FC. Barcelona. The fact is that the exposition is very coloured and also about the topic of the quotation, the rank of prices comes from the creations estimated less than 200.000 ptas. to the ones estimated more than 10.000.000 ptas. The overall patrimony around 100.000.000 ptas. how exposed by some specialists.
There are about a hundred works exposed through the different halls of th museum, but there is another large number of them that remains stored because of the lack of capacity. This initiative has overflown all the foresights.
The need of an enlargement of the museum is completed with the idea of distributing the works through the stadium. This would make easier the access of the public to such singular pinacotheque.
