Seattle Rainiers- 1938-1964 This page will take you through the Golden Era of the Pacific Coast League. Many future major league stars developed their skill here in Seattle during this time while the fans listened to the legendary Leo Lasen call the games.

Seattle Angels- 1965-1968 Once considered a rival to Major League Baseball, the Pacific Coast League settled into a typical minor league system. However, the Seattle Angels did win the PCL championship in 1966.

Seattle Pilots- 1969 Major League Baseball comes to Seattle, although the relationship would be short. Only after one season, the team is moved to Milwaukee to become the Brewers.

Seattle Rainiers- 1972-1976 After the Pilots left, a Class A team named the Rainiers play at Sick's stadium. With the taste of big league ball and television broadcasting more games, the Rainiers gain few fans.

Seattle Steelheads- 1946 The city's only professional Negro League team plays a short season in the newly formed West Coast Negro League.
