Notes: Who's that getting a roughing penalty in the first period? None other than the Beast of New Haven's first-ever assistant coach, Joe Paterson. It was kinda funny when he was introduced to the media (all three of us). He mentioned that he'd played in NH in 1988-89, and we media types and the media relations types all kind of looked at each other...sure enough, Joe played six games here. I'd seen him, and had forgotten about it! Shows to go you, the first thing that goes when you get old like me is...aw, I forget.
