Notes
Just to show you that this award does not only go to hitters, you can see that this week it has gone to a pitcher, Jose Lima. Jose Lima is currently having his best season ever, with a record of 10-6, and a 3.62 ERA. This week he was especially a standout, and totally dominated his opposition in two starts. These two starts may have been coming against the Marlins and the Pirates, two of the worst offense teams in baseball, but nothing should be taken away from Jose Lima. His 16 K's to 1 BB ratio for the week is phenominal, and is quite a feat regardless of the opposition.

It was rumored when the Astros aquired Randy Johnson that Jose Lima would be the odd man out of the starting rotation. I heavily doubt that. This week has surely solidified Lima a spot in the rotation -- at least for a few more weeks.
