Gary Fowell Builders Plains Rangers had a tough outing to Katikati on Saturday. The home team were too strong for the bare eleven Rangers could scrape together, and won 9 - 0. Rangers always tried to play good football and had a few moments, with Josh Hyndman's the best. His delightful chest down and volley from twenty metres missed by the narrowest of margins.
This Saturday Rangers will be at home to Te Puke, a team they have had two close encounters with. Kick off at Awakeri will be at 2.30 pm.
