Kerry St Dennis & Lucy Jonkman

Lucy Jonkman started
into kite making with
this banner for the
Royal City Fun Flyers.
Good friend Bill Peart
helped build the banner.
Lucy has also produced
several t-shirts depict-
ng the Guelph logo. At
this point Kerry must have
been thinking that there
must be a fun element to
making your own kites.
The evidence is provided
below

The bol was made by Kerry from Ed Hummel's plans. It's a four foot bol that can be flown on the ground with a line or be lifted by a kite as line laundry. Kerry is doing a lot of sewing at home these days. I think Kerry would have to admit that it was his spouse Lucy that got him really sewing. After he got that new sewing machine for Christmas nobody could stop him!
Kerry has been busier than ever with his latest project. A new stack of quad line kites is in the works. You can see unit number one pictured! Once the stack is ready for flight new photos will be added for your viewing pleasure!

UPDATE:
Man, that Kerry is just too fast! One week after I took the first photo the whole stack of four quad kites was completed. Shots of Kerry flying his quad stack in Early April 2002 are below. Thanks to Lucy for emailing the shots of Kerry's new stack.
