Nicklas Lidstrom is the all time best NHL defenseman and I don't think he gets enough credit, for all he does for the Wings. Stevie Y. even said it himself "Nick is the most important player on our team."

Thank's for a great site! I also think that Nick is the best defensmen in NHL. Eventhough I'm from Sweden I'm glad he stayed in Detroit for 3 more years. And I hope that he stays even longer. A great player like him shouldn't play no where else than in th NHL! I visited Michigan for a year in 1991-92 and since then Red Wings has been #1 for me, and always will! Will never forget when I visited Joe Louis Arena and saw the Wings. I'm sure I will come back. Lidstrom has started quite slow but he will start dominating when the matches gets more and more important. Belive me. Red Wings rules! Who can beat Nick, Stevie Y, Fedorov and the rest?! Go Wings!
