Although it does bother me that Mr. McGwire enhanced his physical strength by way of a steroid-type drug. It may be a legal substance in Major League Baseball, but the fact is that he has aided his home-run -hitting ability through external means. This tarnishes his incredible accomplishment.

AND...being a huge Yankees fanatic, I was secretly wishing that Roger Maris' record of 61 home runs in a single season would continue standing. But, I still feel privileged to have witnessed this...I will always remember it.
