SOSA TIES HOME-RUN RECORD!!

Chicago Cubs outfielder Sammy Sosa smashed two home runs thus tying Mark McGwire's record of sixty-two round-trippers in a single Major League Baseball season.

It is disturbing how media coverage of this event has paled in comparison to that of McGwire's. The St. Louis Cardinals first baseman was the first to surmount Roger Maris' feat, but this does not merit the apparently little attention that has been paid thus far to Sosa both in local New York City outlets and on a nation-wide basis. Is the ad nauseum attention being paid to Bill Clinton's story what has caused this, or is it a product of an American bias towards white people (Sosa is from the Dominican Republic)?
