WBRN...WBRN...WBRN...WBRN...WBRN...WBRN...WBRN...

You have entered the most surreal world radio has ever known. Here, anything goes...

Fictional Sports Talk/Top 40 WBRN broadcasts from the depths of the legendary Titanic, boasting an incredible one million watts of power. Management consists of one person - me! On-air talent is made up of those broadcasters which I consider both competent and enjoyable. If you would like to call in, our phone number is (217) 509-5507...no one will answer, but we enjoy watching the phone lines light up! Oh yeah, one more thing--as a WBRN listener, you must worship the New York Yankees baseball franchise. Following is our programming schedule:

Monday - Friday

Sports updates every half-hour!

6 a.m. - 10 a.m.

"MIKE AND THE MAD DOG" (WFAN, New York)
Mike Francesa and Chris "Mad Dog" Russo have made up a premier sports talk tandem for close to ten years. There is a lot of chemistry between these men. They really know how to work together (which is rather ironic given the fact that they've engaged in some heated off-air bouts over the years!) More importantly, the two share a tremendous amount of knowledge and passion for not only New York sports, but athletics in general.

10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

LUKAS (Formerly of Z-100, New York)
His husky voice, approachable personality and candidness with callers are sorely missed here in New York.

2 p.m. - 6 p.m.

PAUL "CUBBY" BRYANT (Z-100, New York)
My favorite disc jockey and possibly the best in the New York market. Consistently comical and witty.

Bryant

6 p.m. - 7 p.m.

JIM ROME (FOX SportsNet)

and

BOB PAGE (formerly of Madison Square Garden Network)

What a hard hitting sports talk combo this would be. Page's New York-ish attitude would work well alongside the sly Rome.

7 p.m. - 10 p.m.

LIVE YANKEES BROADCASTS: BOB COSTAS (NBC-TV) AND SUZYN WALDMAN (WFAN, New York) call the action! One of the best broadcasters of our time paired with the best Yankees beat reporter.

OR

SCOTT SHANNON (WPLJ, New York) -- Has been a very influental force in radio from a programming standpoint (pioneered Morning Zoo format). Great voice, too!

10 p.m. - 2 a.m.

STEVE SOMERS (WFAN, New York)
A very unique sports talk show host. He currently co-hosts, but is much better as a solo act and should still have his own slot.

2 a.m. - 6 a.m.

"ALBUM RADIO"
One album per hour from my pathetically limited compact disc collection.

SPORTS ANCHORS:

Morning Drive: MARV ALBERT (MSG Network) -- The man. Enough said.

Midday: BERNARDO -- Hey, that's me!

Afternoon-Drive: IAN EAGLE (WFAN, New York)-- One of the best up and coming broadcasters of his generation. Rather versatile.

Nighttime: DR. VINCENT FITZGERALD (Assistant Professor of Communications, College of Mount Saint Vincent)-- Former professional radio broadcaster who now spends his time either enlightening Mount students with his knowledge or rooting for those dumb Jets.

Overnight: No updates.
