Billy recalls with fondness his attempts at some of these events.
While the aim of most IAK games was to avoid falling over and getting killed, the 'Peanuts' (aka 'Family') event offered the exciting new possibility taking out your entire team if you fell.
Just look at the smiles on the Victorian peanuts.
The final event for the evening is always a four-team simultaneous event. Mountain Climbing, a rare steep wall event (rare due to their danger) tests upper body strength and susceptibility to vertigo.
The aim was to get two team members to climb up the steep wall using pegs which were to be inserted into holes in the 'mountain'. A similar sort of apparatus is often seen in gymnasiums, but this was about 100 times larger.

Powerhouse David Evans of Stirling can be seen here from 'summit-cam' about to bring home a victory for his team. The size and position of the cheerleader gives an indication of the height off the ground. Mountain Climbing has traditionally been dominated by South Australia.
Peter "tank" Bolton, captain of Melbourne City comes in for minor points.
Stirling, semi-final victors.

David Evans: "Thanks Billy, this should just about cover our life insurance".
