Joker: Victoria (2nd place)
Heat 1: New South Wales vs. Queensland
Heat 2: Victoria vs. South Australia (after 30 seconds of extra time, required after teams were level after time allowed for event)
Final: New South Wales (4) vs. Victoria (4) (Joker 2nd place)
Roger Trewavis represented Portland well, under the circumstances. One must question the fairness of the scoring system in this event, especially if Victorian! Luckily compère Billy J Smith assured the TV audience that there was no chance of the competitors being stabbed...folks! As far as we could see there was an actual danger of a stabbing, but that was only in the face. We are sure the Combat Team had that danger covered though... he he.
Event 4: Icebergs
Joker: New South Wales () Victoria (4)
Queensland (2)
Judging by much of the weather at IAK, we are unsure whether the icebergs in the big pool were natuarally occurring or artificial pontoons. A fantastic (but again dangerous) event. We want to do it! And Victoria won! Yay!
