Final: New South Wales (8)(), South Australia (2)
Both Victorian posties were eliminated in the heat, giving South Australia a 50-50 chance of scoring
points, any number of which would have won the show for Stirling. In the end the South Australians
finished second, gaining them two points and victory for the night. One feels for the Benalla team though,
given their outstanding efforts over the night, which would normally have earned victory.
New South Wales' joker win took them to a respectable 12 points, up from the doldrums of only four points
after five events. Dalby pulled off a truly Frankston-esque performance. Bravo!
