Latest reports have suggested that Leeds United are ready to offer players plus cash to land 18 year old striker Robbie Keane. Leeds have a hit list of three players that includes Danny Mills of Charlton, Kieron Dyer of Ipswich and Keane himself. Wolves are interested in grabbing as much cash for the Republic of Ireland International as they can but will struggle to get the £7m that he has been valued at. Leeds are aware of the financial situation at Molineux at the present, but equally may not be able to pay the money that Wolves require. It looks likely that Leeds will offer a player plus cash deal to tempt Wolves and the West Yorkshire club have a few players who may interest Colin Lee. Striker Clyde Wijnhard, has struggled to make the grade in the Premiership, but has been given few chances. The Dutch striker holds the ball up well and is a good header of the ball but may not be the out-and-out goalscorer that the club are looking for. Meanwhile, the club may be more interested in centreback David Wetherall who has attracted links to Huddersfield, Blackburn, Barnsley and Sunderland. A move for him may depend on the decision made by Keith Curle. Leeds United have other players available too and it would seem that they will try hard to satify Wolves requirements to team Keane up with his Republic of Ireland teammates Ian Harte and Stephen McPhail.
