Wolves defender Keith Curle is being tipped to take the role of first-team coach at rivals West Brom following the departure of Malcolm Crosby to Derby County.
Baggies' boss Denis Smith is understood to be keen on recruiting the former England ace in a player-coach role. The former Manchester City man has turned down a 12 month deal to stay at Molineux, and is eager to begin his managerial apprenticeship. The acquisition of Curle would also go a long way to shoring up an Albion defence which conceded 76 goals last season.
