GORAN INTERVIEW
Q. How badly did you want to play Pete? Were you hoping to get another shot at him after Wimby?
Goran: Yeah, I wanted to play him but it's okay. I am in the semis, so I don't mind-I don't complain I didn't play- I'm going to play him sooner or later.
Q: How long did it take you to get over Wimby?
Goran: It didn't
Q: You havn't gotten over it yet?
Goran: no-no-no
Q: How long do you think it will take?
Goran: I don't know- the other one is the 94 and it took me four years, so I don't know- I don't know when I going to play the final again.
Q: Do you look at what Jana did as maybe some inspiration that your time will come?
Goran: Yeah but she was twice in the final, I am 3 times now, but it does not matter Jana or not. I just was sure I was going to win - when you are 100% sure and then you lose....
Q: What did you do following that?
Goran: Took 3 weeks on the boat in Croatia crusing around, trying not to think.
Q: If you were to win one of the other Grand Slams would that help soften the blow of losing Wimbledon?
Goran: Yeah sure, I will take anyone.
Q: Do you think Kafelnikov is a little like you, depends on which side of the bed you wake up on the day?
Goran: Yeah, probably we should stay together in the room. Maybe I suggest that to him. One bed, two beds, he wakes up on one side and--
Q: You want to tell us something?
Goran: No-no-no. Not for sure, but so I see which way he gets up, on which side, so then we know we are ready or not- play golf straight away or we come here.
