Boxing for charity subsection

In June 2006, Jack took part in the inaugural State of Origin Fight Night at the Brisbane Convention Centre. Held to raise money for the Mardi Jackson Cancer Foundation, the night saw former Origin greats rekindle old rivalries on the canvas over 3x1.5 minute rounds. The charity bouts were the undercard to a professional WBA fight.

Jack faced off against notorious Maroons hardman Trevor 'The Axe' Gillmeister. Both boxers landed several hits on each other before Gillmeister was awarded victory on points.
