Robert and the Viking's fought off a first quarter slump to stay perfect for the year improving to 6-0. Smith jump started the Viking offense with a 72 yard touch down run in the second quarter. On the next drive he broke Chuck Foreman's all-time Viking rushing record on a 9 yard scamper. Duante and company took over from there as he hit Carter, Moss, and Hatchete for scoring strikes. The defense played a solid overall game holding the bears under 100 yards rushing and Mcnown to just over 200 hundred yards passing. Up next the Bills are coming to town on Sunday. Rob Johnson was hurt so Flutie will be at the helm for Buffulo. The Bills have a good deffensive unit and with Doug at quarterback the defense will have to take into account his scrambling ability. |
