Another product of the Rangers youth system. Was once the most exceptional talent in Scottish football, but a horrendous tackle from Neil Simpson of Aberdeen in October 1988 put him out of the game for 3 years. Every time he is written off, the stylish midfielder returns to show there is life left in those rebuilt legs. A naturally gifted player, he made his mark by running at packed defences and by scoring cheeky but inspired goals in the process. A player who rises to the big occasion, on his day he is still one of the best midfielders in Scottish football.
