The Leipzig Pétanque Club "Pastis 1996"

After the club has played together some time in loose community - on the basis of activities of the French-German Society in Leipzig -, it was created in September 1996 as association. It belongs to the Leipzig city sport federation and the sport federation of Saxonia. In the year 1999 our club became winner of the regional league.

In the club besides the pétanque game sociability is maintained also. That is, between the games and quite for the termination of one game day we like to drink a glass wine or a "pastis" (a French anise beverage, preferably of ). Pétanque playing is always also a little French way of life!

The Leipzig Pétanque Club "Pastis 1996" meets regularly in the Saturday afternoon in Leipzig in the street "Max-Liebermann-Sraße".

This year our club has arranged for the 4th time in the summer a doublette tournament: The 4th Pastis tournament in Leipzig.

Actual informations and news from the "pétanque world" can read the members and friends in the news sheet "Pastis News" of the association. Also a column École de Pétanque is contained always.
Who is interested in it, can download the outputs of the "Pastis News" here. They are present as word document and as postscript file .
