My Opinion & Ratings
Scoring - 3.5: Kobe's definately a slasher, but he sometimes tries too hard to create a shot. Once he gains more experience in the NBA, he's going to be pretty hard to stop. Funny, they said the same thing about Michael Jordan...
Passing - 2.5: He's not quite suited for the point in my opinion. Then again, neither is Allen Iverson. Both want to score first and pass second; I don't think Del Harris's experiments with Kobe at the point are that great.
Rebounding - 3: He can certainly get up for the boards, but as a 2-guard, he's not expected to rip down 7-10 rebounds a night.
Defense - 2.5: Once again, the more experience he gains, the better both sides of his game are going to get.
Shooting - 3.5: Kobe has a nice touch on the ball, but his shooting comes in spurts.
Clutch - 2: I'd hate to bring up the Utah series in 97, so I'll just say this - he'll start hitting those shots, and when he does, he'll be looking for the Jazz.
