Halfway through March, people already start to get itchy about exams and by times a touch of spring is in the air. We seem to have lost the Always Forever team as Evelyn twisted her knee and is out for months while the other girls are too busy thinking about what might have been. Luckily we can welcome De Spelers, a brandnew team with special guest star Christoph Minnebo (former Bruges Lizzards). What more do you need to play another game of danball?

At their debut De Spelers did very well indeed. Due to heavy playing
Ghosty ended up along the side of the field. So did Christophe who
incidentally had to leave after one game because there was an exam scheduled
for the next day (don't know how he did).
In spite of all, the routine of the Heavy BP's made they won the
first game 10-5.
Time for a bite of pizza. The girl from the Hut was so pretty we forgot
to ask her name. However, trying to organise a replacement for the prestigious
Wymar Cup the Always Forever team forgot to return, she gave us
two silver coloured plates. As always the choice of pizza was impeccable
and only Koen got sick afterwards! Time for another game.
Wild and exiting but in spite of the fact that Fabienne did so well De Spelers
once more lost 10-8. However, we did introduce a new rule to the game: sweets to be provided to everyone at anytime....
A third game had to bring the answer. As the lights of the car park we depend on for playing were turned off we had to find another place to play. Whether the fact that we came close to a church had anything to do with it nobody knows but De Spelers this time won 10-4!
