DAMASCUS REGIONAL PARK - The Wheaton Wings gained their second Division I point as the team tied the Seneca Sharks on the road 1-1.
The Sharks extracted some revenge on the Wings as the two teams tied 1-1 on April 19 at Damascus Regional Park. Wheaton had earlier defeated Seneca 4-2 in the Bethesda U-16 Tournament Final in November. The home team scored first as a free kick outside the box found its way into the net near the end of the first half. The Wings battled back and managed to score one of their own on a long shot of their own through Kim Cooper (Poolesville H.S.) in the second half.
