MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT:

On behalf of the Board of Directors, Coaches, Managers, and Volunteer Staff I welcome everyone to another year of Buffalo Hornets Youth Hockey. This will be our 26th season, and I am as excited about the year ahead as if it were the first! We have many new faces to greet, many old ones to embrace, and some who have come back to our family. I say family because that is the backbone of what this organization is all about. I like to believe once a Hornet, always a Hornet, and we have the people around to show us that!

To the novice parents amongst us, get to know your coach or instructor. Ask Questions. Learn what a truly great sport this can be. To the kids who have made their first travel team, good luck and keep your heads up. To the kids who have moved up a division, take all that you have learned and grow from that. To our coaches, treat your players with respect, and you will have earned theirs. Parents, never be afraid to ask questions and be an active participant in your teams endeavors.

My door is always open, but if you have concerns or issues, try to resolve it within your team structure first, or your division coordinator is always there for you too. And try to keep a smile.....it makes issues easier to overcome.
