Carol lived down the street from Gerry. They met in a 7-11 convenience store,but it wasn't for a year afterwards that they started seeing one another. Carol,like all of us,was quite taken by Gerry's "good looks and his size." What she says might surprise everyone is that this big man is a "sensitive guy." She found it striking that for being such a big person and so physical on the ice that he could be that way. Talk about being swept off your feet...Gerry and Carol dated for 4 months and got married 4 months later. "It is better today than ever," says Carol. Gerry has been quoted as saying that one of the reasons he loves Carol is that she "laughed at everything he said" and that it made him feel as if he was "funny."
