Wow what a game! Where were these guys last week? The last two games have been the best this season so far with the intensity the guys have shown. As usual though...
BLIND REFS!
No matter what the Stingrays did,they didnt get more than a minor or double-minor. I swear I could've jumped the glass and killed Re-Tardif!!! That guy was a major jerk (as usual...) the whole game. There were at least 3 separate occasions where he should have just been given a game misconduct and kicked off the ice. And after those times,he feels the need to take two full swings with his stick at the fans?!?! Now here comes the part where the refs should have even gotten fined for making such a bad mistake..they did absolutely *nothing* to him for it! He should have been *gone*..and he was only sent back to his own bench... Even though I would have been kicked out of the arena for it,if I had been one of the people he took those swings at,I would have just taken my full large-sized coke and dumped it right on his head.
The shootout was one of the most nerve-racking I have seen. Every time a player missed,whether ours or an opposing player,the tension and volume could literally be felt going up. Just an awesome game.
Additional note: attendance still needs *help*! I dont know what's going on,but this is pitiful. I'm recruiting all the people I can find..but I'm about to resort to making fliers and passing them out on the street! where's our advertising??
