The cityscape beckons to me
But I don't give heed to its call
I never know where I'll be
If I go into its noisy confusion

Cars and people rushing by
So easy to get lost on the street
I feel isolated I wish I could fly
Wish I could fly away, just fly away...

I get pushed aside in the crowd
People don't care in the city
Shouting for taxis, blaring horns so loud
If things could only slow down, slow down...

The buildings make me feel so small
Just watch as they close around you
I fell so lonely, feel like nothing at all
So insignificant, don't you feel it?

No one sees me here
You can walk all over me, it's okay
Because I know city folk don't care
Just mind your business, it's okay...
