FAQ

How are the ratings done? See the guidelines link above in the link bar called guidelines.
Why these guidelines? The FRSC determined them last year, one of the main reasons for the project in the firs place and the main reason for our project it to provide some consistancy in ratings.
Some of the guidelines I don't agree with. We welcome constructive comments/Ideas for the sake of improvement. There are no guarentees of change. Flamming or disruptive comments will be ignored.
Who is rated? Any player who played any NHL games last year. If they didn't play, whatever the reason they will not be included.
What files will be in the final package? The .drs file is the main piece, should we be fortunate enough to get the assistance of Wynn Fenwick to compile the drs for us we will complete the tms and ros files as well. There will be an html file of all players and readme file (instructions) included. Even without the help of Wynn we will try to get the package complete. But the DRS is the main thrust.
Will you include salary info? That has yet to be decided.
Will you be doing vitals? Yes, vitals will be done.
Will rookies be identified? If we are sucessful in getting Wynn's assistance , yes. If not no, but we will provide a list of rookie names so one could edit this using the simm player edit screen.
I would like to help, how can I? Send email to Big Al, you will need to have Excel 5.0 minimum and be committed to your tasks. Tasks will be posted on the site as files/data is prepared. All one has to do is volunteer as tasks get posted.
