Welcome to the Children’s Charities Tennis Classic Website!

The Children’s Charities Tennis Classic is a Jr. Charity tennis Tournament for young people ages 10 through 24. We have over 12 divisions with both singles and doubles play. This year’s tournament will be held August 7, 8 & 9th at the newly renovated Don Davis Tennis Courts at Walnut Hill Park in New Britain, CT.

This year, The Classic is celebrating its 30th anniversary!

It all began 30 years ago with a few trophies and a couple of courts. Today, it has grown to become one of the largest Jr. Charity tennis events in CT! We are proud to say that over the course of 3 decades, we have raised over $100,000 for various Pediatric Child-Life programs at The Hospital of Central CT at New Britain General! We have purchased countless games, toys, VCR’s, DVD’s & CD”s. We have also purchased kid-friendly exam tables and have even had the Pediatrics Unit re-painted with child friendly murals and happy scenes!

Our tournament is unique in the sense that 100% of all entry fees are given directly to the Hospital. Also, we keep our entry fees very reasonable, $20 for singles play and $20 per doubles team. This year, we will again donate our proceeds to help the various Pediatric programs at the Hospital.
